TRAI releases Net-Neutrality recommendations

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released recommendations on net neutrality affirming rules that prohibit any form of data discrimination, with violations risking license cancellation. These recommendations require acceptance by the Department of Telecom, which will need to amend telecom operators’ license agreements to incorporate Net Neutrality.
