Apar GuptaThe Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued its recommendations dated 20th June 2024 on the ‘Inputs for Formulation of National Broadcasting Policy-2024’. Following a request from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, TRAI released a Pre-Consultation Paper on September 21, 2023, and a subsequent Consultation Paper on April 2, 2024, which focused on key areas and sought input from 42 stakeholders. An Open House Discussion was held on May 15, 2024, to further refine these inputs.
